Our courses all use student centred methods such as skill demonstrations & practice, groupwork, question & answer sessions & case studies. We  augment the above strategies with tutorials & demonstrations to give a well balanced interactive learning experience for all students.

Formative Assessment will be ongoing throughout the course by the trainer. On our FAW courses there is a final assessment on the last day conducted by independent assessors.

Early Years First Aid

Childcare providers (Childminders & Pre-school staff) are required by the Children’s act should have a working knowledge of first aid and equipment. In addition, The HSE also require some knowledge of First Aid for all care workers including school staff. Trained staff with first aid knowledge can act promptly and calmly to prevent situations becoming major issues. 

The Courses in this section are for

Any staff or volunteer workers whose local authority require an OFSTED recommended child care First Aid course & are responsible for the care of children &/or babies. All registered Childminders and pre school playgroup leaders are required to have First Aid training.
