Our philosophy:

First Aid training should be FUN! and not continuous chalk & talk. We achieve this by using an interactive style of training delivery with all students participating in the learning experience. We do not go for gory stories from the trainers but sensible realistic examples of what a student can expect in the workplace.

Our courses are supplemented by full colour approved First Aid manuals and we only teach accepted First Aid protocols.

Our trainers are all experienced in First Aid in the Workplace and all have or are working toward Adult education teaching qualifications.

 All courses comply with the HSE's recommendation of 12 students per course. First Aid at Work courses (4&2) also include full colour manual per student. All courses can accommodate larger numbers of students if required. Please contact for details.

First Aid manuals

This First Aid Manual is a fully approved manual written by ambulance paramedics and contains “up to the minute” First Aid protocols for all areas of first aid. This manual is given on all HSE approved First Aid courses and is available at extra cost for all other courses

The Emergency Aid for Appointed Persons booklet is given to all students on the 4 hour and 1 day courses. It is fully up to date and written in an easy to understand way without any "padding" frequently seen with other First Aid publications

Handouts

Handouts will be given to students when required to aid learning.

Certificates

Named Certificates (valid for 3 years) will be issued at the end of the courses. The certificates are approved by the HSE for the purposes of the Health & Safety at Work Act (First Aid) 1981.
