Aim To give eligible students an introduction to training and assessing methods and strategies used when delivering and assessing First Aid courses and the knowledge & skills to maintain a First Aid at Work Trainers portfolio of evidence.

Who should attend? Any eligible individuals who wish to become First Aid Trainers and/or Assessors.

Benefits? Unlike other First Aid training courses, our course allows students to give 3 front-of-class presentations and demonstrations (15, 20 and 30 mins) of hands-on first aid teaching practice. Teaching, coaching and presenting First Aid courses require not only full up-to-date knowledge of First Aid techniques and protocols but also the ability to use teaching skills to gain maximum learning for the students. This course will provide essential teaching skills through group work and teaching exercises to build the confidence to run First Aid training events.

"This was an excellent Trainers Training Course. It fully met all my objectives for attending"    Sam

"After training for 10 years I still learnt a great deal. Thanks, I really enjoyed it"     John from our last course

The Home

 of sensible First Aid training

First Aid training should be FUN! and not continuous chalk & talk. we achieve this by using an interactive style of training delivery with all students participating in the learning experience. We do not go for gory stories from the trainers but sensible realistic examples of what a student can expect in the workplace.

Our trainers are all experienced in First Aid in the Workplace and all have, or are working toward Adult education teaching qualifications.

Enjoy!
