Our courses all use student centred methods such as skill demonstrations & practice, groupwork, question & answer sessions & case studies. We augment the above strategies with tutorials & demonstrations to give a well balanced interactive learning experience for all students.

Formative Assessment will be ongoing throughout the course by the trainer. On our FAW courses there is a final assessment on the last day conducted by independent assessors.

First Aid courses

HSE Approved First Aid at Work 4 day (initial) This is the 4 day Health & Safety Executive Approved First Aid course for Full First Aiders in the workplace.

HSE Approved First Aid at Work 2 day Requalifier This is the 2 day Health & Safety Executive Approved First Aid Requalifier course for current Full First Aiders in the workplace.

Practice Day for First Aiders Ideal for updating and refreshing first aiders' knowledge and skills to the latest protocols using realistic casualty simulation and scenarios

Emergency Aid for Appointed Persons 4 Hour This course complies with the minimum HSE required First Aid presence in the workplace for appointed persons

Emergency Aid+ for Appointed Persons 1 day Same as the 4 hour course but with added First Aid subjects of your choosing

First Aid at Work Trainer This course gives students an introduction to training and assessing methods and strategies used when delivering and assessing First Aid courses and the knowledge & skills to maintain a First Aid at Work Trainers portfolio of evidence.

	The Home of sensible First Aid training
		First Aid training should be FUN! and not continuous chalk & talk. we achieve this by using an interactive style of training delivery with all students participating in the learning experience. We do not go for gory stories from the trainers but sensible realistic examples of what a student can expect in the workplace. Our trainers are all experienced in First Aid in the Workplace and all have, or are working toward Adult education teaching qualifications. Enjoy!
