Practice Day for First Aiders 1 Day

Download printable syllabus here

It has been shown that the retention of knowledge and skills in First Aid drops sharply only 6 months after training through lack of practice. This course provides a chance for First Aiders to update and refresh their skills through realistic simulations of First Aid situations guided by Casualties Union trained trainers. Many organisations complete their First Aid training programme by offering this course to their First Aiders, yearly, between the FAW 3 year certification.

Aim:

This course is designed to build confidence and expertise in First Aid by providing updated information on accepted practices and giving the chance for First Aiders to take part in realistic simulations

This course is for:

First aiders in the workplace that are currently midway between  certification courses and appointed persons who have successfully completed an Emergency aid course.

The Home

 of sensible First Aid training

First Aid training should be FUN! and not continuous chalk & talk. We achieve this by using an interactive style of training delivery with all students participating in the learning experience. We do not go for gory stories from the trainers but sensible realistic examples of what a student can expect in the workplace.

Our trainers are all experienced in First Aid in the Workplace and all have, or are working toward Adult education teaching qualifications.

Enjoy!
